A bit of information about Seville
Seville is the capital of Andalusia and a city best discovered on foot. Its historic centre is filled with beautiful architecture, orange trees, hidden squares, traditional tapas bars and lively terraces.
November is also a wonderful time to visit, with milder temperatures and fewer crowds than during the spring and summer months.
If it is your first time in Seville, make some time simply to wander around — some of the most beautiful parts of the city are discovered without a plan.
Good Resturants
For traditional tapas
Bodeguita Casablanca – A very traditional Sevillian tapas bar, popular with locals. Don’t miss the ham and cheese.
Bodeguita Antonio Romero – A local classic next to the bullring. Order a piripi, their famous little pork and tomato sandwich.
La Flor del Toranzo – Perfect for traditional Spanish tapas, Iberian cured meats, cheeses and anchovies.
For a nice lunch or dinner
Eslava – One of our favourite places in Seville. Excellent food with a creative take on traditional Andalusian cuisine. A great choice for both lunch and dinner.
La Casa de María – A great choice for traditional Spanish food. Their speciality is rice dishes, and their Spanish tortilla is particularly good.
Petit Comité – One of our favourites, combining Spanish and French influences in a charming retro setting.
Barra Baja – Sit at the bar if you can and watch the chefs cook. Their tartare is particularly good.
Casa Ozama – Set inside a beautiful restored Sevillian house, with several rooms and lovely gardens.
Río Grande – On the Triana side of the river, with beautiful views towards the historic centre

Real Alcázar
One of Seville’s most extraordinary landmarks and the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe. Parts of Game of Throneswere also filmed here.
We recommend booking tickets in advance.
Santa Cruz
The old Jewish quarter and one of the most charming areas of Seville, with narrow streets, small squares and traditional houses.
Plaza de España & María Luisa Park
One of the city’s most iconic sights and a beautiful area for a morning walk.
Triana
Cross the Triana Bridge and explore one of Seville’s most traditional neighbourhoods, known for flamenco, ceramics and its lively atmosphere.

If you prefer simply exploring the city, we recommend walking through Santa Cruz, Mateos Gago, Callejón del Agua, Murillo Gardens, Calle San Fernando, Avenida de la Constitución, Plaza Nueva, Plaza de San Francisco, Plaza de España, María Luisa Park, Paseo de Colón, Torre del Oro and Triana Bridge
